Melt Interface Technologies to Showcase Two Products at Murata’s Booth at electronica 2026 in Munich, Germany

Melt Interface Technologies, Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yamato Sakoda; hereinafter “Melt Interface Technologies”) is pleased to announce that it will exhibit two products at Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s booth (Head office: Nagaokakyo, Kyoto; hereinafter “Murata”) (Hall C4, Booth 179) at electronica 2026, one of the world’s largest electronics trade fairs, to be held from Tuesday, 10 to Friday, 13 November 2026 at Messe München in Munich, Germany. The two products on display are the “ContactGlove3” series hand-tracking glove, developed using Murata components, and the “Mask Voice Clip,” a mask-type voice input device co-developed with Murata.
“ContactGlove3” Series: Camera-Free Hand Tracking Enabled by Murata’s High-Sensitivity LF Antennas, On Sale from November
On display will be the “ContactGlove3” series hand-tracking glove, which incorporates Murata’s compact, high-sensitivity LF (low-frequency) antennas at the fingertips. By combining Melt Interface Technologies’ hand-tracking expertise with Murata’s components, the product achieves precise capture of hand and finger movement without relying on an external camera. The “ContactGlove3” series is scheduled to go on sale from November 2026.
By converting detailed human motion into digital data, this technology could provide a new source of real-world training data for Physical AI, with potential applications ranging from robot learning and teleoperation to the transfer of skilled human techniques across a wide range of fields.
“Mask Voice Clip”: A Mask-Type Voice Input Device
Also on display will be the “Mask Voice Clip,” a mask-type voice input device developed in collaboration between Murata and Melt Interface Technologies. The product uses Murata’s Picoleaf™ piezoelectric film sensor to capture speech by detecting vibrations of the mask generated by the speaker’s voice, enabling clear voice input even in noisy environments such as factories. As voice becomes an increasingly important input method for AI, this technology offers a new option for voice input.
At the show, Murata will present products and technologies spanning a wide range of technology areas, including AI & Robotics, Mobility, Connectivity, Wellness & Wellbeing, Environment, Data Centers and IC. The “ContactGlove3” series and “Mask Voice Clip” will be introduced in the AI & Robotics area as exhibits that demonstrate the potential of new input interfaces for the AI era.
